1 Renewal restrictions

If you have auto-renew enabled, we will attempt to charge your card on file and renew your domain 2 weeks prior to expiration, 1 week prior to expiration, and attempt final billing 3 days prior to expiration. If payment fails, we will notify you.

If you do not have auto-renew enabled, GoDaddy will allow you to manually submit a renewal request between 3 and 30 days prior to the expiration date. Please note, we are not able to accept renewal requests earlier than the 30-day mark. See Renew my expired domain for more information. You'll need to pay the renewal fee at the time of restore.

2 Transfer To restrictions

Due to registry limitations, .at domain names transferred to us retain only the remaining registration time, and we cannot extend registration by one year

3 Transfers-away requirements

You must ask the gaining registrar to initiate the transfer for .at domains. Transfers will complete once the losing registrar (or Nic.at, in some instances) provides the auth code and sends in the transfer request. Due to registry limitations, transferred .at domain names retain only the remaining registration - there is no automatic extension of the registration.

Your domain does not need to be unlocked to be available for transfer.

See Transfer my domain away from GoDaddy for more information on transferring domain names to a different registrar.

4Contact updates restrictions

Using a P.O. Box as an address is not acceptable.
