  • Troubleshooting Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • Configuring email clients
  • Configuring FTP apps
  • Troubleshooting third-party domain registrations
  • Checking for cross-browser compatibility
  • Setting up virtual machines on your server
  • Installing custom software with no vendor
  • Compiling from source code
  • Installing or troubleshooting Node.js, MongoDB, or Varnish
  • Setting up or managing domains outside your control panel
  • Issuing GoDaddy SSL certificates
  • Assisting with non-Gen 4 VPS & Dedicated Server products and services
  1. SSL installation is available as a paid service when a cPanel or Plesk control panel is provisioned with our server. This does not include command line, Tomcat, or IIS SSL installations. For alternative installation scenarios, GoDaddy may have other paid solutions.
  2. Includes third-party mail entries, DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), Sender Policy Framework (SFP), Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC), private nameservers for GoDaddy domains, and Content Delivery Network (CDN)
  3. Includes troubleshooting common email errors, reviewing mail logs, reviewing blacklisting, reviewing srever for outgoing SPAM
  4. Self Managed servers provisioned with cPanel or Plesk include the ability to run backups, but must be manually run. Exception: Generation 4 Dedicated Servers: The responsibility for maintaining backups for both snapshot and disaster recovery is the sole responsibility of the customer.
  5. Includes diagnosing web server performance (Apache, NGINX, PHP-FPM, or IIS), diagnosing common database server issues, troubleshooting the meaning of errors, analyzing and investigating error logs
  6. Includes connection string review and repair, file permission, ownership, and audit, PHP debugging, database search and replace, application updates, and disabling plugins and themes
  7. Includes installing and configuring iptables, CSF, and firewalld, configuring base Sucuri features, changing SSH ports, whitelisting and blacklisting IP addresses, configuring supported control panel security features, providing basic application security recommendations
