Another GoDaddy account: Set mail destination

To set up Office 365 from GoDaddy on a domain at Wix, you need to add and change DNS records to point your domain name’s email to Office 365.

The values you need for each new record are provided on your Office 365 Set Mail Destination page, after you verify your domain ownership.

  1. Log in to your domain's Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Manage.
  3. On the domain you want to update, click Text Icon (Settings), and select Manage DNS.

If you have more than 6 domains in your account, just click the domain name you want to update.

  4. At the bottom of the Records section, you can add your new records.
    • TXT Record: Select TXT (Text), enter the information we showed in your Office 365 account. Click Add Record.
    • CNAME: Select CNAME (Alias), enter the information we showed in your Office 365 account. Click Add Record.
    • MX Records: Select MX (Mail Exchanger), enter the information we showed in your Office 365 account. Click Add Record.
    • SRV Records: Select SRV (Service), enter the information we showed in your Office 365 account. Click Add Record.

Next steps

  • Have GoDaddy check your new DNS settings, by logging into your account, and clicking I updated these settings. Check, please! You'll get an email when your Office 365 address is ready to go!
